Unfortunately the top surface of this unit has a considerable crack in it, as far as the storage space is concerned it is still in perfect working order, though being a handcrafted piece it lacks runners meaning even pressure must be applied to the drawers for a smooth open and close action. Otherwise painted beautifully and a tidy little piece suited for any home
